  Not all machines are the same.  The biggest issues with popcorn machine making is that normal poppers you find online in the market place are all 8 ounce poppers or smaller. There are so many 9 OZ poppers as they are cheap to make.  That size kettle really is just big enough to do a small party at home or a small Vacation Care group but really nowhere to the capacity to expand and grow your business to make sure you keep the lines down and the cash rolling in at events, your market or your shop.

   

   I have even seen poppers that are 5 ounce and promoting them as commercial.  PLEASE THIS IS WRONG.

   

  A 16 ounce popper like I have here are the biggest popper kettles available here at under $1500.  We custom made them to finally try and get those lines down at all the events that service popcorn.

   

  So when you shop around consider if paying a few hundred dollars less is worth creating lines of people or people walking away from the popcorn stall because your kettle just doesn’t work fast enough to make bags to sell..

   

  Starting popping 2 hours earlier before your event still won’t help unless you have a big machine.  

   

  So buy a real commercial asset for your business and not an 8OZ toy that is labeled “commercial”.  The motors we use are larger so that you run less power to operate then the small underpowered machines. Power supply is the biggest issues when you run events so our latest machines here have larker poppers and larger motors therefore needing less power to operate it at normal operating.

  How to make each kettle of popcorn info below:

   

   

  - 300 grams kernels

  - 5 grams butter salt

  - 90mls oil

   

  Popping: Warm up the kettle, turn on the motor, add oil. When oil is warm add corn and Buttersalt.

   

  Popping starts shortly thereafter.  Once popcorn has slowed down turn of heat and motor
